MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE CORRECTIONS DEPARTMENT FOR THE PURPOSE OF EXPANDING TRANSITIONAL SERVICES PROVIDED BY A CITY-DESIGNATED COMMUNITY RESIDENTIAL CORRECTIONS PROGRAM LOCATED IN BERNALILLO COUNTY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Fifty-five thousand dollars ($55,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the corrections department for expenditure in fiscal year 2000 for the purpose of expanding transitional services provided to male and female parolees by a city-designated community residential corrections program that is located in Albuquerque in Bernalillo county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2000 shall revert to the general fund.
