A MEMORIAL

EXPRESSING THE CONDOLENCES OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES TO THE FAMILY AND FRIENDS OF FRANK HORAN.



WHEREAS, Francis Logan Horan died on October 3, 1998; and

WHEREAS, he moved to New Mexico after graduating from the Colorado school of law in 1942, serving with the U.S. Army corps of engineers and then the state rationing attorney and began his law practice in 1945; and

WHEREAS, he became the city attorney in 1954 and served in that position until 1978; and

WHEREAS, he served in the house of representatives from 1978 until 1982; and

WHEREAS, he is survived by his sister Mary Wentz, children Beth, Jim, Tom and daughter-in-law Kit and grandchildren Jenifer, Jeffrey, Rebecca, Lawrence, Peter, Francis and Mary Angela;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO that condolences be expressed to the family and friends of Frank Horan, a loving and devoted New Mexican; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that copies of this memorial be transmitted to Mary Wentz, Beth, Jim and Tom.
