I have this day VETOED and am returning SENATE BILL 419, as amended, enacted by the Forty-Fourth Legislature, First Session, 1999.

This bill changes the scope of practice in the Dental Health Care Act and the licensure requirements for dentists and dental hygienists. This bill is identical to HOUSE BILL 265, as amended, which was passed by the Forty-Fourth Legislature and which I already signed into law. Therefore, I am vetoing this bill in order to avoid potential conflict.
