Honorable Speaker and Members of the House:

I have this day VETOED and am returning HOUSE BILL 518, as amended, with emergency clause enacted by the Forty-Fourth Legislature, First Session, 1999.

This legislation would create a disparate fee system for club liquor licenses based on the size of the club. I have vetoed this bill because it was so altered through the amendment process in the legislature that it no longer has the intended affect the sponsor sought.
