0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR SUPREME COURT LITIGATION COSTS;

0012|     DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--One hundred ninety-three
    |
0016|     thousand two hundred dollars ($193,200) is appropriated from
    |
0017|     the general fund to the supreme court for expenditure in
    |
0018|     fiscal year 1998 for litigation costs.  Any unexpended or
    |
0019|     unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 1998
    |
0020|     shall revert to the general fund.
    |
0021|          Section 2.  EMERGENCY.--It is necessary for the public
    |
0022|     peace, health and safety that this act take effect
    |
0023|     immediately.
