0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR SUPREME COURT BUILDING MAINTENANCE

0012|     EXPENSES; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Twenty-eight thousand dollars
    |
0016|     ($28,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the supreme
    |
0017|     court building commission for expenditure in fiscal year 1998
    |
0018|     for maintenance and repairs.  Any unexpended or unencumbered
    |
0019|     balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 1998 shall revert
    |
0020|     to the general fund.  
    |
0021|          Section 2.  EMERGENCY.--It is necessary for the public
    |
0022|     peace, health and safety that this act take effect
    |
0023|     immediately.
