This | 0024| tract comprises Tracts 60, 107-b, and 108, as shown | 0025| on Map 69 of the surveys of the Middle Rio Grande | - 1 - 0001| Conservancy District, Tract 9-a-1-b and 107-b as | 0002| shown on Maps 69 and 73 of the surveys of the | 0003| Middle Rio Grande Conservancy District, and an | 0004| unnumbered Tract within Section 20, Township 7 | 0005| North, Range 2 East and all within Sections 20, 21, | 0006| and 28, Township 7 North, Range 2 East of the New | 0007| Mexico Principal Meridian and being more | 0008| particularly described as follows: | 0009| BEGINNING at the Southwest Corner of Tract 108, | 0010| M.R.G.C.D. Huning Co. | 0008| The tract is more particularly described as follows: | 0009| BEGINNING at a point on the North boundary line | 0010| of the tract, which boundary line is also the North | 0011| boundary line of the San Clemente Land Grant, and | 0012| which point is marked by United States Government | 0013| Survey Monument and whence a United States | 0014| Government Survey Monument marking the corner | 0015| common to Sections 7, 8, 17, and 18, Township 7 | 0016| North, Range 2 East of New Mexico Principal | 0017| Meridian bears North a distance of 1806.42 feet and | 0018| running | 0019| Thence West a distance of 1534.40 feet to the | 0020| Northwest Corner of the tract; | 0021| Thence S 17 10' W a distance of 2763.10 feet to | 0022| the Southwest Corner of the tract; | 0023| Thence East a distance of 5280.00 feet to the | 0024| Southeast Corner of the tract; | 0025| Thence N 17 10 E a distance of 2763.10 feet to the | - 4 - 0001| Northeast Corner of the tract; | 0002| Thence West a distance of 3745.60 feet to the | 0003| point of beginning, containing 320.00 acres, more | 0004| or less.; and | 0005| WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the state that all | 0006| of the described real property be transferred to an owner that | 0007| will maintain and use the Los Lunas medical center facility; | 0008| and | 0009| WHEREAS, the Los Lunas school district desires to | 0010| maintain and use the Los Lunas medical center and will develop | 0011| a plan to maximize the use of that property; | 0012| NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE | 0013| STATE OF NEW MEXICO that the property control division of the | 0014| general services department be authorized to enter into | 0015| negotiations with the Los Lunas school district to determine a | 0016| transfer price of the Los Lunas medical center, such price not | 0017| to exceed one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000); and | 0018| BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that after all conditions of the | 0019| negotiations between the property control division of the | 0020| general services department and the Los Lunas school district | 0021| have been met, the Los Lunas medical center shall be | 0022| transferred to the Los Lunas school district in fee simple and | 0023| in perpetuity; and | 0024| BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be | 0025| transmitted to the property control division of the general | - 5 - 0001| services department, the department of health and the Los | 0002| Lunas school district. | 0003| |
