0011|     REQUESTING THE PUBLIC EMPLOYEES RETIREMENT ASSOCIATION TO

0012|     PERFORM AN ACTUARIAL STUDY ON THE COST OF COVERING STATE

0013|     POLICE LIEUTENANTS AND CAPTAINS IN STATE POLICE MEMBER

0014|     COVERAGE PLAN 1.

0016|          WHEREAS, state police member coverage plan 1 is designed
    |
0017|     for line officers; and
    |
0018|          WHEREAS, police officers holding the ranks of lieutenant
    |
0019|     and captain are in-district supervisors who still perform
    |
0020|     patrolman assignments on a regular or as-needed basis;
    |
0021|          NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE
    |
0022|     STATE OF NEW MEXICO that the public employees retirement
    |
0023|     association be requested to perform an actuarial study on the
    |
0024|     cost of covering state police lieutenants and captains in
    |
0025|     state police member coverage plan 1 and report its findings to
    |

0002|          BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this memorial be
