0011|     REQUESTING THE STATE HIGHWAY AND TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT TO

0012|     STUDY THE FEASIBILITY OF BUILDING AN OVERPASS AT INTERSTATE 40

0013|     AND SUPERMAN CANYON ROAD IN MCKINLEY COUNTY.

0015|          WHEREAS, there is limited access to interstate 40 east of
    |
0016|     Gallup; and
    |
0017|          WHEREAS, access to interstate 40 from east of Gallup and
    |
0018|     traffic north from the vicinity of Superman Canyon road is
    |
0019|     very difficult and imposes substantial burdens on the growing
    |
0020|     White Cliff residential community;
    |
0021|          NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE
    |
0022|     STATE OF NEW MEXICO that the state highway and transportation
    |
0023|     department be requested to study the feasibility of
    |
0024|     constructing an overpass over the interstate, the wash and
    |
0025|     railroad tracks in the vicinity of Superman Canyon road east
    |

0001|     of Gallup in McKinley county; and
    |
0002|          BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this memorial be
    |
0003|     transmitted to the secretary of highway and transportation.
