FOR GADSDEN SCHOOL DISTRICT CAPITAL PROJECTS IN DONA ANA COUNTY.

     I request that the following capital outlay projects be
funded:

                    to the state department of public education:

          A.  forty-five thousand dollars ($45,000) to purchase
and install portable buildings at Anthony elementary;

          B.  ninety thousand dollars ($90,000) for landscaping
at Loma Linda elementary school;

          C.  one hundred ten thousand dollars ($110,000) for an
additional computer laboratory at Gadsden middle school;

          D.  one hundred forty thousand dollars ($140,000) to
purchase video production equipment at Gadsden high school;

          E.  seventy-two thousand five hundred dollars ($72,500)
for a computer laboratory at Desert Trail intermediate school;

          F.  five thousand dollars ($5,000) for landscaping at
Chaparral middle school;

          G.  forty-five thousand dollars ($45,000) for
educational technology at La Union elementary school;

          H.  one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for
playground improvements at Riverside elementary;




          I.  seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000) for
educational technology at Desert View elementary;

          J.  one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for

playground improvements at Sunland Park elementary school;

          K.  fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for landscaping at
Santa Teresa middle school;

          L.  fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for landscaping at
Santa Teresa high school; 

          M.  four million four hundred thousand dollars
($4,400,000) to plan, design, construct, equip and furnish an
addition at La Union elementary; and

          N.  one million dollars ($1,000,000) to plan, design,
construct, equip and furnish an addition at Santa Teresa high
school.
