FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN TAOS SCHOOLS IN TAOS COUNTY.

     I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

                    to the state department of public education:
          
          A.  five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) to construct new classrooms and
alternative space at Taos high school in Taos county;

          B.  one hundred seventy thousand dollars ($170,000) to renovate the cafeteria at
Ranchos elementary school in Taos county; and

          C.  five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) to construct classrooms, a parking

lot and a playground at Arroyos del Norte elementary school in Taos county.
