FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS TO HISTORIC ROUTE 66 IN ALBUQUERQUE IN
BERNALILLO COUNTY.

     I request that the following capital outlay project be
funded:

                    to the local government division of the department of
          finance and administration:
          
                    fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to plan and implement
          capital improvements and commercial revitalization
          activities along historic Route 66, Central avenue,
          between Louisiana boulevard and Girard boulevard in
<center>- 1 -</center>

          Albuquerque in Bernalillo county.  This will protect
          and enhance public and private investments in the
          region, including residential, commercial and the state
          fair.
