                      STATE OF NEW MEXICO
            43RD LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION, 1998

FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS AT ARMORIES THROUGHOUT THE STATE.

     I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

                    to the state armory board:
     
          A.  one million dollars ( $1,000,000) to construct an armory near Taos located in
Taos county;

          B.  two million dollars ($2,000,000) to renovate, repair or make improvements to
various armories located throughout the state; and

          C.  four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000) to complete the construction of
<center>- 1 -</center>

and equip the new Clayton armory in Union county.
