SENATE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 144 
                                
                      STATE OF NEW MEXICO
            43RD LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION, 1998

                           REQUESTED BY

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN THE CITY OF RIO RANCHO IN SANDOVAL COUNTY.

     I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

                    to the local government division of the department of finance and administration:
          
          A.  one million six hundred thousand dollars ($1,600,000) to plan, design,
construct and equip a municipal maintenance headquarters building in the city of Rio Rancho in
Sandoval county;

          B.  five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) to plan, design, construct and
install traffic control signals at various intersections in the city of Rio Rancho in Sandoval
county;

          C.  one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) to purchase and equip five new
department of public safety vehicles in the city of Rio Rancho in Sandoval county; and

          D.  twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) to purchase and equip a new animal
control vehicle in the city of Rio Rancho in Sandoval county.
