HOUSE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 460 
                                
                      STATE OF NEW MEXICO
            43RD LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION, 1998

                           REQUESTED BY
                         TIMOTHY E. MACKO              





FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS IN BERNALILLO COUNTY.

     I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

                    to the state highway and transportation department:
          
          A.  fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to make improvements
to Academy road between Bryan avenue and Congress avenue in
Bernalillo county;

          B.  two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) to make
improvements to residential roads in the Paradise Heights
neighborhood association area in Bernalillo county; and

          C.  two million dollars ($2,000,000) to widen and correct
alignment for Golf Course road in Bernalillo county; and

                    to the local government division of the department of
          finance and administration:
     
          A.  two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) to acquire
land for baseball fields in or near Paradise Hills in Bernalillo
county; and

          B.  two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) for
improvements and equipment for the Taylor Ranch community center in
Bernalillo county.
