            43RD LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION, 1998

                           REQUESTED BY

FOR VARIOUS PROJECTS IN BERNALILLO COUNTY.

     I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

                    to the local government division of the department of
          finance and administration:
          
          A.  one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) to continue
construction of a preschool at the Dennis Chavez community center in
Albuquerque in Bernalillo county;

          B.  one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) to
continue construction of the east San Jose community center and

renovate the swimming pool at the center in Albuquerque in Bernalillo
county;

          C.  two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) to expand
existing facilities at the Thomas Bell satellite community center in
Albuquerque in Bernalillo county;
          
          D.  one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) to complete
construction of a gymnasium at the Kinney Brick community center in
Albuquerque in Bernalillo county; and

          E.  two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) to construct a
therapeutic recreation facility at the Loma Linda community center in
Albuquerque in Bernalillo county.
