                           REQUESTED BY

FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS AT THE PUEBLO OF ACOMA IN CIBOLA COUNTY.

     I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

                    to the New Mexico office of Indian affairs:
          
          A.  one million six hundred thousand dollars ($1,600,000) to construct a library
and computer center at the pueblo of Acoma in Cibola county;

          B.  one hundred seventy-five thousand dollars ($175,000) to continue renovation
of the Acomita community center in Cibola county; and

          C.  eight hundred fifty thousand dollars ($850,000) to renovate and expand the

sky city tourist visitors' center at the pueblo of Acoma in Cibola county.
