0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR ONE-TIME SALARY INCREASES FOR

0012|     NATIONAL-BOARD-CERTIFIED INSTRUCTIONAL STAFF FOR SERVICES CURRENTLY RENDERED.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Eighty-seven thousand dollars ($87,000) is
    |
0016|     appropriated from the general fund to the state department of public education for
    |
0017|     expenditure in fiscal year 1999 for the purpose of funding one-time salary increases for
    |
0018|     national-board-certified instructional staff for services currently rendered.  Any unexpended
    |
0019|     or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 1999 shall revert to the
    |
0020|     general fund.
