0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A COMMUNITY TEATRO PROGRAM IN THE

0012|     GADSDEN INDEPENDENT SCHOOLS IN DONA ANA COUNTY.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Seven thousand five hundred
    |
0016|     dollars ($7,500) is appropriated from the general fund to the
    |
0017|     state department of public education for expenditure in fiscal
    |
0018|     year 1999 for the purpose of funding the Voces del Valle
    |
0019|     community teatro program, including artists' fees, production
    |
0020|     expenses and travel expenses, in the Gadsden independent
    |
0021|     schools in Dona Ana county.  Any unexpended or unencumbered
    |
0022|     balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 1999 shall revert
    |
0023|     to the general fund.
