APPROPRIATION.--One million dollars | 0017| ($1,000,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the | 0018| state department of public education for expenditure in fiscal | 0019| years 1998 and 1999 for the purpose of contracting with a | 0020| private nonprofit organization to establish dropout prevention | 0021| programs at Valley, Los Lunas, Rio Grande and West Mesa high | 0022| schools and Santa Fe Indian school in Bernalillo, Santa Fe and | 0023| Valencia counties. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance | 0024| remaining at the end of fiscal year 1999 shall revert to the | 0025| general fund. |
