0011|     MAKING APPROPRIATIONS TO FUND INTERIM AND PRE-SESSION EXPENSES

0012|     OF THE LEGISLATURE.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATIONS.--
    |
0016|               A.  There is appropriated from the general fund to
    |
0017|     the legislative council service for fiscal year 1999, to be
    |
0018|     disbursed on vouchers signed by the director of the
    |
0019|     legislative council service, the following:
    |
0020|                    (1)  for travel expenses of legislators other
    |
0021|     than legislative council members, on legislative council
    |
0022|     business for committee, travel, staff and other necessary
    |
0023|     expenses, for other interim committees expenses and for other
    |
0024|     necessary interim legislative expenses for fiscal year 1999,
    |
0025|     eight hundred eighty-six thousand five hundred dollars
    |

0001|     ($886,500);
    |
0002|                    (2)  for pre-session expenditures and for
    |
0003|     necessary contracts, supplies and personnel for interim
    |
0004|     session preparation, three hundred fifty-two thousand three
    |
0005|     hundred dollars ($352,300); and
    |
0006|                    (3)  for the interim duties of the senate
    |
0007|     rules committee, twenty-one thousand six hundred dollars
    |
0008|     ($21,600).
    |
0009|               B.  Money remaining from the appropriation shall
    |
0010|     not revert at the end of fiscal year 1999.
