A new section of Chapter 30, Article 18 NMSA | 0017| 1978 is enacted to read: | 0018| "[NEW MATERIAL] INJURY TO LIVESTOCK.-- | 0019| A. Injury to livestock consists of willfully and | 0020| maliciously poisoning, killing or injuring livestock that is | 0021| the property of another. | 0022| B. As used in this section, "livestock" means | 0023| cattle, sheep, buffalo, horses, mules, goats, swine and | 0024| ratites. | 0025| C. Whoever commits injury to livestock is guilty |
