       Your TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been
  referred
  
                        HOUSE BILL 388
                               
  has had it under consideration and reports same with
  recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:
  
       1.  On page 1, line 22, before the period insert
  "notwithstanding the provisions of Subsection B of Section 66-3-14
  NMSA 1978".
  
       2.  On page 2, line 12, strike all language after the comma
  and all of line 13 and insert in lieu thereof "may remain with the
  vehicle and be transferred to the new owner upon payment of a ten
  dollar ($10.00) fee in addition to the regular motor vehicle
  registration fees.".
  
       3.  On page 2, line 17, strike the word "issuing" and insert
  in lieu thereof the word "processing".
  
  and thence referred to the APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE
  COMMITTEE.
