0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR FAMILY FOCUS CENTERS AT ELEMENTARY

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Twenty million dollars
    |
0016|     ($20,000,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the
    |
0017|     state department of public education for expenditure in fiscal
    |
0018|     years 1998 and 1999 to develop and implement family focus
    |
0019|     centers in elementary schools statewide.  Any unexpended or
    |
0020|     unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 1999
    |
0021|     shall revert to the general fund.
