0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A YOUTH INITIATIVE TO BUILD

0012|     SELF-ESTEEM PROJECT IN BERNALILLO AND OTERO COUNTIES.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Five hundred three thousand
    |
0016|     one hundred thirty-six dollars ($503,136) is appropriated from
    |
0017|     the general fund to the department of health for expenditure
    |
0018|     in fiscal year 1999 for the purpose of contracting for
    |
0019|     services to operate a youth initiative to build self-esteem
    |
0020|     project at community centers in Wells Park, Westside, Westgate
    |
0021|     and Los Padillas in Bernalillo county and at community centers
    |
0022|     in Alamogordo and Tularosa in Otero county.  Any unexpended or
    |
0023|     unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 1999
    |
0024|     shall revert to the general fund.
