TAYLOR | 0005| | 0006| | 0007| | 0008| | 0009| | 0010| AN ACT | 0011| MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A COMPREHENSIVE STATEWIDE DWI | 0012| STUDY. | 0013| | 0014| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO: | 0015| Section 1. APPROPRIATION.-- | 0016| A. Eighty-five thousand dollars ($85,000) is | 0017| appropriated from the general fund to the department of public | 0018| safety for expenditure in fiscal year 1999 to contract for a | 0019| comprehensive statewide study of DWI in New Mexico. Any | 0020| unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of | 0021| fiscal year 1999 shall revert to the general fund. | 0022| B. The comprehensive study shall seek to determine | 0023| the point of sale of alcoholic beverages consumed immediately | 0024| prior to arrest for DWI. For purposes of the study, the point | 0025| of sale shall be classified by the types of sellers and |
