0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO STUDY METHODS OF ENSURING THE

0012|     AVAILABILITY OF HEALTH INSURANCE TO CERTAIN LOW-INCOME

0015|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0016|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Ninety thousand dollars
    |
0017|     ($90,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the New
    |
0018|     Mexico health policy commission for expenditure in fiscal year
    |
0019|     1999 for the purpose of studying and developing
    |
0020|     recommendations to ensure availability of health insurance to
    |
0021|     low-income individuals and families not eligible for public
    |
0022|     health insurance programs.  Any unexpended or unencumbered
    |
0023|     balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 1999 shall revert
    |
0024|     to the general fund.
