0016|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0017|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thirty-five
    |
0018|     thousand dollars ($135,000) is appropriated from the general
    |
0019|     fund to the children, youth and families department for
    |
0020|     expenditure in fiscal year 1999 for the purpose of hiring new
    |
0021|     full-time-equivalent attendant care personnel to provide
    |
0022|     personal and hygiene care to homebound individuals who might
    |
0023|     otherwise need institutionalization.  Any unexpended or
    |
0024|     unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 1999
    |
0025|     shall revert to the general fund.
