0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE NEW MEXICO RIVERS INVENTORY

0012|     AND ASSESSMENT.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred thousand 
    |
0016|     dollars ($300,000) is appropriated from the general fund to
    |
0017|     the department of environment for expenditure in fiscal years
    |
0018|     1999 and 2000 for the purpose of initiating the New Mexico
    |
0019|     rivers information system and conducting the rivers inventory
    |
0020|     and assessment.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance
    |
0021|     remaining at the end of fiscal year 2000 shall revert to the
    |
0022|     general fund.
