0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH FOR

0012|     STATEWIDE JAIL DIVERSION AND OTHER SERVICES FOR THE MENTALLY

0015|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0016|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Two million sixty thousand
    |
0017|     dollars ($2,060,000) is appropriated from the general fund to
    |
0018|     the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 1999
    |
0019|     to provide services for the mentally ill, including crisis
    |
0020|     stabilization diversion beds and facilities, jail diversion
    |
0021|     services and infrastructure, medication and drug formulary
    |
0022|     enhancement, residential support and quality outcome services. 
    |
0023|     Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of
    |
0024|     fiscal year 1999 shall revert to the general fund.
