0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR PROGRAMS FOR AT-RISK YOUTH IN TAOS

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--One hundred six thousand
    |
0016|     dollars ($106,000) is appropriated from the general fund to
    |
0017|     the children, youth and families department for expenditure in
    |
0018|     fiscal year 1999 for the purpose of developing a youth corps
    |
0019|     program in Taos county, which will teach at-risk youth
    |
0020|     marketable skills, help them earn their graduate equivalency
    |
0021|     diplomas and otherwise offer a healthy alternative to youth
    |
0022|     incarceration.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance
    |
0023|     remaining at the end of fiscal year 1999 shall revert to the
    |
0024|     general fund.
