0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR COORDINATION OF INTERGOVERNMENTAL

0012|     EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT CAPABILITIES.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred thousand dollars 
    |
0016|     dollars ($200,000) is appropriated from the general fund to
    |
0017|     the technical and emergency support division of the department
    |
0018|     of public safety for expenditure in fiscal year 1999 for the
    |
0019|     purpose of establishing a mechanism for intergovernmental
    |
0020|     coordination of emergency management services, including
    |
0021|     government-to-government coordination between the state,
    |
0022|     political subdivisions and the eight northern Indian pueblos
    |
0023|     and tribes statewide.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance
    |
0024|     remaining at the end of fiscal year 1999 shall revert to the
    |
0025|     general fund.
