0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE DRINKING WATER STATE REVOLVING

0012|     LOAN FUND FOR DRINKING WATER SYSTEM FINANCING; DECLARING AN

0013|     EMERGENCY.

0015|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0016|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Pursuant to Section 6-21-6.1
    |
0017|     NMSA 1978, one million five hundred eighty-one thousand five
    |
0018|     hundred nineteen dollars ($1,581,519) is appropriated from the
    |
0019|     public project revolving fund to the drinking water state
    |
0020|     revolving loan fund for expenditure in fiscal year 1998 and
    |
0021|     subsequent fiscal years to carry out the purposes of the
    |
0022|     Drinking Water State Revolving Loan Fund Act.  Any unexpended
    |
0023|     or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of any fiscal
    |
0024|     year shall not revert to the public project revolving fund.
    |
0025|          Section 2.  EMERGENCY.--It is necessary for the public
    |
