APPROPRIATION.--Five hundred thousand dollars | 0016| ($500,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the | 0017| vocational rehabilitation division of the state department of | 0018| public education for expenditure in fiscal year 1999 to expand | 0019| consumer-controlled community-based independent living | 0020| services as defined by the federal Rehabilitation Act of 1973, | 0021| including peer counseling, information and referral, systems | 0022| advocacy, life-skills training and other related services for | 0023| people with disabilities in priority areas of the state as | 0024| determined by the statewide independent living council. Any | 0025| unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of |
