0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A CAMPUS SAFETY PROGRAM AT THE

0012|     UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO IN BERNALILLO COUNTY.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--
    |
0016|               A.  Eighty thousand dollars ($80,000) is
    |
0017|     appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of
    |
0018|     the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year
    |
0019|     1999 for the SAFE@UNM campus safety program operated by the
    |
0020|     women's resource center.  This appropriation shall be expended
    |
0021|     in the following amounts for the following purposes:
    |
0022|                    (1)  twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000)
    |
0023|     for the purchase of equipment; and
    |
0024|                    (2)  fifty-five thousand dollars ($55,000) to
    |
0025|     meet operational expenses.

0001|               B.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance

0002|     remaining at the end of fiscal year 1999 shall revert to the
