0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO EXPAND AND ENHANCE THE HOTEL,

0012|     RESTAURANT AND TOURISM MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT OF NEW MEXICO

0015|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0016|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--
    |
0017|               A.  Three hundred eighty thousand dollars
    |
0018|     ($380,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board
    |
0019|     of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in
    |
0020|     fiscal year 1999 to expand and enhance programs of the hotel,
    |
0021|     restaurant and tourism management department.  The
    |
0022|     appropriation shall be distributed in the following amounts to
    |
0023|     the following entities:
    |
0024|                    (1)  one hundred ninety thousand dollars
    |
0025|     ($190,000) to the agricultural experiment station; and
    |

0001|                    (2)  one hundred ninety thousand dollars
    |
0002|     ($190,000) to the cooperative extension service. 
    |
0003|               B.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance
    |
0004|     remaining at the end of fiscal year 1999 shall revert to the
    |
0005|     general fund.
