0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE COMMISSION ON HIGHER EDUCATION

0012|     FOR COMMUNITY-COLLEGE-BASED EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS PROVIDING

0013|     HIGH TECHNOLOGY TRAINING.

0015|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0016|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--One million dollars
    |
0017|     ($1,000,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the
    |
0018|     commission on higher education for expenditure in fiscal year
    |
0019|     1999 for the purpose of developing, expanding and supporting
    |
0020|     broad-based entry-level high technology training programs at
    |
0021|     community colleges statewide, including instructors,
    |
0022|     curriculum implementation, laboratory development, equipment
    |
0023|     operation and maintenance support.  Each community college
    |
0024|     that receives funds for the program shall provide an equal
    |
0025|     amount of funding from a source other than the general fund.

0002|     fiscal year 1999 shall revert to the general fund.
