0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE NURSE-MIDWIFE PROGRAM AT THE

0012|     HEALTH SCIENCES CENTER AT THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred fifty thousand
    |
0016|     dollars ($350,000) is appropriated from the general fund to
    |
0017|     the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for
    |
0018|     expenditure in fiscal year 1999 for the purpose of continuing
    |
0019|     the certified nurse-midwife program at the health sciences
    |
0020|     center.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at
    |
0021|     the end of fiscal year 1999 shall revert to the general fund.
