APPROPRIATION.--Thirty-five thousand dollars | 0017| ($35,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the | 0018| criminal and juvenile justice coordinating council for | 0019| expenditure in fiscal year 1999 for the purpose of conducting | 0020| a study of issues, including sentencing policies, related to | 0021| capital felony cases in New Mexico. The council shall report | 0022| its findings to an interim legislative committee with | 0023| jurisdiction over criminal law issues no later than October | 0024| 31, 1998. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at | 0025| the end of fiscal year 1999 shall revert to the general fund. |
