0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BOARD OF REGENTS OF THE

0012|     UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO TO PAY FOR THE OPERATING EXPENSES OF

0013|     THE CORINNE WOLFE CHILDREN'S LAW CENTER, WHICH WILL OPERATE
    |
0014|     WITHIN THE INSTITUTE OF PUBLIC LAW OF THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW
    |
0015|     MEXICO SCHOOL OF LAW.

0017|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0018|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred thousand dollars
    |
0019|     ($200,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board
    |
0020|     of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in
    |
0021|     fiscal year 1999 for the purpose of paying for the operating
    |
0022|     expenses of the Corinne Wolfe children's law center, which
    |
0023|     will operate within the institutecy of public law of the
    |
0024|     university of New Mexico school of law.  The appropriation
    |
0025|     shall be used to pay for salaries and benefits for a director,
    |

0001|     a staff attorney and administrative support staff and to pay
    |
0002|     for costs incurred in developing and delivering training to
    |
0003|     and resource materials for judges and attorneys.  Any
    |
0004|     unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of
    |
0005|     fiscal year 1999 shall revert to the general fund.
