0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES FOR

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Five million two hundred
    |
0016|     thousand dollars ($5,200,000) is appropriated from the general
    |
0017|     fund to the children, youth and families department for
    |
0018|     expenditure in fiscal year 1999 for the purpose of providing
    |
0019|     behavioral health services for youth who are involved or are
    |
0020|     at risk of involvement with the juvenile justice system and
    |
0021|     who have been denied behavioral health services through the
    |
0022|     federal medicaid program.  Any unexpended or unencumbered
    |
0023|     balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 1999 shall revert
    |
0024|     to the general fund.
