0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A STUDY TO ESTABLISH A DATABASE

0012|     MEASURING HOUSING COSTS.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Fifty thousand dollars
    |
0016|     ($50,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the state
    |
0017|     department of public education for expenditure in fiscal year
    |
0018|     1999 for the purpose of performing or contracting for the
    |
0019|     performance of a study to establish a database measuring
    |
0020|     housing costs in the state's eighty-nine school districts. 
    |
0021|     Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of
    |
0022|     fiscal year 1999 shall revert to the general fund.
