0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL SERVICE TO

0012|     INSTALL AND OPERATE A TOLL-FREE PUBLIC TELEPHONE LINE DURING

0013|     THE SIXTY DAYS OF THE FIRST SESSION OF THE FORTY-FOURTH

0016|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0017|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Fifty-six thousand six
    |
0018|     hundred fifty dollars ($56,650) is appropriated from the
    |
0019|     general fund to the legislative council service for
    |
0020|     expenditure in fiscal year 1999 for the purpose of installing
    |
0021|     and operating a toll-free telephone line during the sixty days
    |
0022|     of the first session of the forty-fourth legislature to
    |
0023|     provide toll-free access for the public.  Any unexpended or
    |
0024|     unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 1999
    |
0025|     shall revert to the general fund.
