0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE COMMUNITY CORRECTIONS GRANT

0012|     FUND TO PROVIDE A GRANT TO A NONPROFIT CORPORATION FOR THE

0013|     OPERATION OF A COMMUNITY-BASED PROGRAM THAT INITIALLY WILL

0014|     PROVIDE REINTEGRATION SERVICES TO CRIMINAL OFFENDERS IN LOS
    |
0015|     ALAMOS.

0017|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0018|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--One hundred sixty-five
    |
0019|     thousand dollars ($165,000) is appropriated from the general
    |
0020|     fund to the community corrections grant fund for expenditure
    |
0021|     in fiscal year 1999 to provide a grant to a nonprofit
    |
0022|     corporation for the operation of a community-based program
    |
0023|     that initially will provide reintegration services to criminal
    |
0024|     offenders in Los Alamos, including criminal offenders who are
    |
0025|     veterans of military service.  The community-based program
    |

0001|     shall be operated in accordance with the provisions of the
    |
0002|     Adult Community Corrections Act.  Any unexpended or
    |
0003|     unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 1999
    |
0004|     shall revert to the general fund.
