0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO EXPAND AND ENHANCE PROGRAMS AT THE

0012|     CLAYTON LIVESTOCK RESEARCH CENTER.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--
    |
0016|               A.  One hundred eighty-three thousand dollars
    |
0017|     ($183,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board
    |
0018|     of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in
    |
0019|     fiscal year 1999 to expand and enhance programs at the Clayton
    |
0020|     livestock research center.  The appropriation shall be
    |
0021|     distributed in the following amounts to the following
    |
0022|     entities:
    |
0023|                    (1)  seventy-one thousand dollars ($71,000) to
    |
0024|     the cooperative extension service; and
    |
0025|                    (2)  one hundred twelve thousand dollars

0002|               B.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance
    |
0003|     remaining at the end of fiscal year 1999 shall revert to the

0004|     general fund.
