0011| PROPOSING TO LEASE ALL OR PART OF THE PROPERTIES KNOWN AS LOS

0012| LUNAS MEDICAL CENTER AND GRASSLANDS.
|

0014| WHEREAS, Section 13-6-3 NMSA 1978 requires ratification
|
0015| and approval of any lease of state-owned real property for
|
0016| longer than twenty-five years; and
|
0017| WHEREAS, the property control division of the general
|
0018| services department is desirous of leasing all or part of the
|
0019| property known as Los Lunas medical center, more particularly
|
0020| described as:
|
0021| A certain tract of land within the San Clemente Land
|
0022| Grant in Valencia County, New Mexico. This tract
|
0023| comprises Tracts 60, 107-b, and 108, as shown on Map
|
0024| 69 of the surveys of the Middle Rio Grande
|
0025| Conservancy District, Tract 9-a-1-b and 107-b as
|
0001| shown on Maps 69 and 73 of the surveys of the Middle
|
0002| Rio Grande Conservancy District, and an unnumbered
|
0003| Tract within Section 20, Township 7 North, Range 2
|
0004| East and all within Sections 20, 21, and 28,
|
0005| Township 7 North, Range 2 East of the New Mexico
|
0006| Principal Meridian and being more particularly
|

0010| boundary line of the San Clemente Land Grant, and

0011| which point is marked by United States Government

0012| Survey Monument and whence a United States

0013| Government Survey Monument marking the corner common

0014| to Sections 7, 8, 17, and 18, Township 7 North,

0015| Range 2 East of New Mexico Principal Meridian bears

0016| North a distance of 1806.42 feet and running

0003| WHEREAS, the property control division is desirous of

0004| leasing real property consisting of two hundred eighty-eight

0005| and forty-four hundredths acres, more or less located on the

0006| west side of Interstate 25 about one mile north of the Los
|
0007| Lunas interchange known as Grasslands, more particularly
|
0008| described as

0009| A certain tract of land south of the Antonio
|
0010| Gutierrez and Joaquin Sedillo grant and west of
|
0011| Interstate 25 highway known as New Mexico Project
|
0012| No. I-025-3 (18) 194, and being within the San
|
0013| Clemente Grant and within Sections 17 & 18, Township
|
0014| 7N, Range 2E, N.M.P.M., the tract being more
|
0015| particularly described as follows: Being of U.S.
|
0016| Geological Survey Monument, a point making the
|
0017| intersection of the common line of Sections 17 & 18,
|
0018| Township 7N, Range 2E, N.M.P.M. within boundary line
|
0019| of San Clemente Grant and running from said
|

0004| WHEREAS, the property control division may lease all or
|
0005| part of the described real property for a period not exceeding
|
0006| forty years to the town of Los Lunas, Valencia county or the
|
0007| Los Lunas school district; and
|
0008| WHEREAS, the property control division shall not lease any
|
0009| of the property described in this resolution without approving
|
0010| a master use plan, including uses for specific property
|
0011| proposed for lease and an evaluation of how specific uses will
|
0012| fit in with all uses of the Los Lunas medical center property
|
0013| and Grasslands; and
|
0014| WHEREAS, the property control division shall not lease any
|
0015| of the Los Lunas medical center property without the approval
|
0016| of the department of health; and
|
0017| WHEREAS, the property control division shall not lease any
|
0018| of the property that the legislature or the governor determines
|
0019| could best be used for state purposes;
|
0020| NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE
|
0021| STATE OF NEW MEXICO that the property control division be
|
0022| authorized to enter into long-term leases of not to exceed
|
0023| forty years after all conditions provided in this resolution
|
0024| are met; and
|
0025| BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be
|
0001| transmitted to the property control division of the general
|
0002| services department.
