GENERAL FUND--DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE AND | 0018| ADMINISTRATION--CHANGING THE PURPOSE--EXTENDING EXPENDITURE | 0019| PERIOD--APPROPRIATION.--The balance of the general fund | 0020| appropriation made to the local government division of the | 0021| department of finance and administration pursuant to Subsection | 0022| JJ of Section 6 of Chapter 147 of Laws 1994 for designing, | 0023| planning, constructing, equipping and furnishing a community | 0024| health clinic in the city of Artesia located in Eddy county | 0025| shall not be expended for its original purpose but is | 0001| appropriated to the local government division for designing, | 0002| planning, constructing, equipping or furnishing a community | 0003| health clinic, including the option of upgrading to a modular | 0004| building, in the city of Artesia in Eddy county. The period of | 0005| time for expenditure of the appropriation is extended through | 0006| fiscal year 1999. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance | 0007| remaining at the end of fiscal year 1999 shall revert to the | 0008| general fund. | 0009| Section 2. EMERGENCY.--It is necessary for the public | 0010| peace, health and safety that this act take effect immediately. | 0011|  |
