0011| MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR ECONOMIC AND COMMUNITY PLANNING FOR

0012| THE SANOSTEE CHAPTER IN SAN JUAN COUNTY; DECLARING AN

0013| EMERGENCY.

0015| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
|
0016| Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Eighty thousand dollars
|
0017| ($80,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the New
|
0018| Mexico office of Indian affairs for expenditure in fiscal years
|
0019| 1997 and 1998 for the purpose of economic and community
|
0020| planning for the Sanostee chapter located in San Juan county.
|
0021| Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of
|
0022| fiscal year 1998 shall revert to the general fund.
|
0023| Section 2. EMERGENCY.--It is necessary for the public
|
0024| peace, health and safety that this act take effect immediately.
