0011|     RELATING TO ATTORNEYS; LIMITING FEES.

0013|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0014|          Section 1.  ATTORNEY FEES--LIMITATION ON HOURLY FEES.--No
    |
0015|     attorney rendering legal services on an hourly-fee basis in New
    |
0016|     Mexico shall charge any client more than one hundred fifty
    |
0017|     dollars ($150) per hour, exclusive of applicable gross receipts
    |
0018|     tax, expenses and costs.  This limitation shall apply to all
    |
0019|     fee agreements entered into on and after the effective date of
    |
0020|     the provisions of this act.
