0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY FOR RURAL

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--One hundred fifty thousand
    |
0016|     dollars ($150,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the
    |
0017|     state department of public education for expenditure in fiscal
    |
0018|     year 1998 for the purpose of purchasing and installing,
    |
0019|     including related software, computers in rural school districts
    |
0020|     statewide.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at
    |
0021|     the end of fiscal year 1998 shall revert to the general fund.
